This wall has four ears

Man has always found safety in rectangular walls. Concrete is one of the most impenetrable materials used to enhance safety.
On the other hand, the Persian idiom “The wall has mice and the mice have ears” implies that even walls are incapable of providing absolute privacy. There are always eavesdroppers waiting to penetrate through the walls.
The rectangular wall and the four ears are also a play on the homophonous Persian words goosh and goosh, one meaning angle and the other ear. “This wall has four gooshes”.
